I am a current undergraduate student at UC Davis. The first of my family to go to college and will soon be the first to attend law school. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where I discovered my desire to study the law. This discovery came after participating in my high school’s Mock Trial team.   During my first years at Davis, life threw a pretty big plot twist that led to me taking some time off and do a bit of soul searching. Ironically, it was this very same time that pushed me in a path I never imagined being a part of, and that was working in the insurance field. And even though I was financially stable in this new career, I kept thinking all the while of going back to school to pursue my dream.
